Title

First Name

Only capital and small letters, minus (-), dot, apostrophe (') and space.

Last Name

Same as abowe: only capital and small letters, minus (-), dot, apostrophe (') and space.

Username

Between 3 and 8 small letters. Keep your username easy, similar to your last name. One of the common ways to create a username is to use the first letter of your firstname and the first 7 letters of your lastname. Example: Mr. Joe Black would maybe choose jblack as his username.

Password

Password Policy:

at least 6 characters length,
one small letter: a-z,
one capital letter: A-Z,
one symbol: #+,-./:=?@[]^{}~ and
one digit: 0-9.

Status at the ETH

Account Needed Until

Depending on what you've chosen in the 'Status at the ETH' you have to set an "expiration" date for you account. This doesn't mean that you can't stay longer, but just that the account will be deactivated (not deleted) after that period. Of course the reactivation (prolongation) is possible.

Group membership

Account Manager

The 'Account Manager' is the person that will decide about the creation of you account and then create it. He/she will be notified by email and then inform you about the process of the creation of the account.

Email Address

Your private E-Mail address will just be used to notify you when your account has been created (with some information about accessing our network) or to contact you in case of problem or missing information.
